Four Years Ago Today...

Four years ago today David and I became parents! Cailin Hazel and Katie Karen were born. Here are some pictures from that day.
Happy Daddy, looking a bit younger than he looks today:
Katie (born second):
Cailin (born first). That's my dad's class ring around her fingers. They were both so tiny, each under 5 pounds and their faces were smaller than my palm.
And here are my two crazy girls today. In the new Alvin and the Chipmunks, there's a scene where the chipmunks spill a big thing of cheese balls. Every time we go to Sam's Club the girls see the cheese balls and beg for me to buy them. Since today was their birthday, I let them get them. I don't think they care if they get any other presents, they are completely satisfied with getting cheese balls :-)
Happy Birthday Cailin and Katie! Daddy and I love you!

Christmas 2008

So two months later I finally post. We had a fun Thanksgiving. We went to Grand Junction and spent a few days with both the Alders and the Cochrans. The girls loved spending time with their grandparents and cousins.

For Christmas we stayed home, and had our first Christmas in our new house. David's parents, two of his sisters, his brother, and sister-in-law all came to our house Christmas Eve and spent the night. We had a busy and happy Christmas morning opening presents. Here is a picture of the three kiddos in front of the tree. Katie playing with Jason's Hulk hands:

It's a playhouse that they would play in every time we went to Sam's Club. I was SUPER excited to find it on clearance a month or so ago. I think we are going to put it up in the basement until we have a fence around our back yard.
Cailin and Elijah liked playing in the big box we used to throw away wrapping paper.

After presents we ate a yummy Christmas lunch. The table we put together for the kids to use didn't go together right. We thought it would be okay, but we were wrong when part way through the dinner the table fell apart and crashed to the ground, taking the kids and food with it. We didn't get a picture of the mess, I guess we should have.Merry late Christmas and Happy late new year to everyone!
